Tech Tales Podcast

Tech Tales is a podcast exploring the technology world's epic failures, forgotten successes, and everything in between. It's hosted by me, with a revolving cast of guests.

Web apps


PhotoStack is a batch photo editor with offline support, advanced watermarking, and customizable export options. It's available as a web app and an Android application.

Pluto Editor

Pluto Editor is a web-based Markdown text editor with a WYSIWYG design.


Link Cleaner is a tool for quickly removing unnecessary bits from web links, such as tracking code and other variables.


ImageShare is a web-based tool for copying images from a game console (like the Nintendo 3DS) to a smartphone.

Browser extensions


Peek allows you to preview dozens of types of documents, without downloading them. Just hover over a file's link, and Peek will display an interactive preview instantly. The extension supports PDFs, Office documents, videos, audio, Google Docs links, and more.

Wikipedia Search

Wikipedia Search adds the ability to search Wikipedia straight from the address bar. You can also right-click a selected word or phrase to perform a search.

Wii Shop Channel Music

This plays the Wii Shop Channel theme in the background when you visit a shopping website, like Amazon, eBay, Best Buy, or Google Shopping.

Cobalt OS

Cobalt is a lightweight operating system based on FreeDOS.

Nexus Tools

Nexus Tools is an installer for Google's Android SDK Platform Tools package, which includes ADB, Fastboot, and other applications. Nexus Tools is writen in Dart, and can run on Linux, macOS, Windows, Windows Subsystem for Linux, and Chrome OS with a single installation command.
